Why do we collect this data?

We collect and store this information to process your membership, deliver services and meet our tax and accounting obligations. We also use members’ contact information to send bulletins and notices of upcoming events that we think may be of interest. We never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent, unless required to do so by law.

What are your rights?

You have the right to access any of your personal information that we hold. You have the right to ask us to correct, update or delete your personal data and we will respond in a timely way. You may choose to withhold some personal information or opt-out or unsubscribe from receiving bulletins etc, although this may prevent us delivering some membership services.

How do we protect your personal information?

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have a number of protective procedures and technical measures in place.

Members are provided with personal logins to access our Members Portal. Members are responsible for keeping these login details confidential.

How long do we keep your data?

We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide you with services or where required by law. After your membership ends, we keep your personal information for up to seven years, in line with the law. The information we use for marketing purposes will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

Your membership form and your entry in the Candidates Book will be kept in the Club’s archive.
