Tomline Prizeman

At Eton College, the winner of the Tomline Prize, a major mathematics prize founded in 1846 through a £1,000 benefaction from George Tomline and formalised by a trust deed in 1854. Originally open to the whole school, it awarded books worth £30. Reorganised around 2009 as a mathematical essay competition, the prize is documented into the twenty-first century.
