Army and Navy Club

A London gentlemen’s club founded in 1837 for officers of the British Army and Royal Navy, commonly known as The Rag. Women were admitted as Associate Members from 1962; the club now admits both men and women, including from non-military backgrounds. It remains a private members’ club at 36 Pall Mall and retains its strong military associations.
