Fellow
editIn a university or college, a Fellow is an elected member of the institution, with academic, teaching, governing, or residential duties. In a learned society, a Fellow is an elected member, usually in recognition of distinction or achievement. More generally: a companion, associate, or person regarded as an equal; denoting another person sharing the same occupation, status, institution, or circumstances, as in “a fellow student” or “a fellow officer”.
