Hunterian Lecture

edit

By John Simpson •

A lecture named after the eighteenth-century surgeon and anatomist John Hunter. At the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Hunterian Lectures are delivered by appointed Hunterian Professors or Lecturers and traditionally present original research in surgery or related sciences. The lectures form part of the College’s programme of scientific and professional education and commemorate Hunter’s influence on surgery.
