student

A person studying at a school, college, or university, particularly one pursuing a degree or other qualification. At Christ Church, Oxford, however, Student is also the traditional title broadly equivalent to Fellow elsewhere. Students held Studentships and were members of the foundation and Governing Body, undertaking teaching, scholarship, research, and administration. The title remains in use at Christ Church.
