Travelling Fellowship

A fellowship providing financial support for travel, usually to enable a student, graduate, or researcher to visit other institutions, countries, or places relevant to their study or research. Travelling fellowships have long been awarded by universities, colleges, and learned societies and remain a current form of academic funding. Historically, they could enable extended study or research abroad after graduation.
