Windham Club
editA London gentlemen’s club founded in 1828 by Lord Nugent and named after the statesman William Windham. A literary and social club, it brought together members through personal and literary connections rather than shared professional or political interests. It occupied several premises in St James’s, including 13 St James’s Square from 1836. In 1945 it merged with the Marlborough and Orleans Clubs.
